Second Look's first ever public event ran in the Summer of 2008.

The 'Bristol A Second Look' competition was open to everyone & completely free to enter, encouraging the people of Bristol to send in images of their own unique view of Bristol. Second Look's favourite entries each week were added to an exhibition of unusual views from the six members of Second Look.

We had no idea that the event would be so much fun or so popular & it inspired everything that Second Look has done since.

The competition attracted 80 incredibly varied & creative entries & we offer the finalists below alongside some of Second Look's own photographs of Bristol from the competition.
