Second Look is delighted to present these three unique & talented photographers for an evening's meditation on the art of photography in all it's guises. Jem Southam - one of the UK's leading photographers, Jem is renowned for his series of colour landscape photographs, beginning in the 1970s and continuing until the present. His trademark is the patient observation of changes at a single location over many months or years. Tamany Baker - Tamany has been working as a photographer in Bristol for 20 years. She focuses on subjects, which convey subtle aspects of nature and humanity, including night and dusk photography. Alec Jackson - Alec is the only member of the line up who is also an active Second Look member. An experimental photographer hovering on the boundaries of the medium, his work revolves round subverting & challenging ideas around what photography is.
